About the Creator

Alice Garner (she/her) is a second-year at Davidson College. She is an Africana and Hispanics Studies double major, intrigued with the overlap of the two disciplines, and hopes to explore the intersectionality through research of the enslaved populations in Latin America during her study abroad. This portfolio was created for her final project for History 361 (Enslaved of Latin America) taught by Dr. Diego Luis in the Fall of 2021.
